Terms of use

These terms apply when you use Teorimester, both the app and the website teorimester.no.

Who we are

Teorimester is owned and run by Teorimester AS.

  • Org. no.: 930 860 301 MVA
  • Address: Bueråsen 4, 3234 Sandefjord, Norway
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Phone: +47 406 41 522

What Teorimester is

Teorimester helps you get a driving licence for a car. Among other things you will find a theory course, practice tests for the theory test, guides to road signs and road markings, games and, in the app, a log for practice driving. Some of it is free, and the rest requires that you have bought access.

Your account

You can create an account with an email address and a password, or sign in with Google or Apple. The account is personal. Each person should have one account, and you may not share it with others or let others use it.

Keep your password secret. If you think someone else has got into your account, let us know at [email protected]. If you sign in with Google or Apple, the same goes for that account.

The details you give us, such as your email address, must be correct.

How you may use the service

Teorimester is for your own use while you learn for your licence. You may not:

  • copy, download or collect questions, explanations or other content, whether by hand or automatically
  • sell, share or publish the content, or use it in another service
  • try to get into parts of the service you do not have access to, or disrupt the service or other users
  • use the service for anything unlawful

The content is ours

The questions, explanations, illustrations, course, games, texts and design in Teorimester belong to Teorimester AS or to those we license them from. As long as you have access, you have a personal right to use the content in the service. You get no other rights to it.

Purchases

When you buy access, our terms of purchase apply in addition to these terms. Where they say something different from these terms about a purchase, the terms of purchase apply.

Privacy

How we handle information about you is described in our privacy policy.

Practice driving

Never use your phone while you are driving. Start the drive in the app before you set off, and end it once the car has stopped. If something has to be done in the app on the way, the supervisor does it.

The driver and the supervisor are responsible for driving safely and for following the traffic rules and the rules for practice driving. The app helps you keep track, but it does not replace the supervisor or the driving school.

The app only uses your location as described in the privacy policy.

Rewards

You can earn rewards in the app, for example coupons, extra content and badges, among other things through practice driving. The rewards are a voluntary and free addition to the service and are not part of what you pay for when you buy access. The exception is rewards that say they are only available to those who have bought access.

You cannot exchange rewards for money, pass them on to others or combine them with other offers, unless the app expressly says so.

We may change, replace or end the reward scheme and the individual rewards in the app at any time. This also applies to what it takes to earn a reward and what the reward gives.

Rewards you have earned must be used within the deadline shown in the app. If no deadline is shown, the reward lapses 30 days after you earned it. Unused rewards also lapse if you delete your account, or if we close or block it under these terms.

You are not entitled to damages, compensation or a refund for rewards that have been changed, replaced or ended, or that have expired.

No guarantee that you pass

We work to keep the content correct and up to date, but we cannot promise that you pass the theory test, the driving test or any other test. The only exception is the pass guarantee, as set out in the terms of purchase.

Deleting and closing accounts

You can delete your account at any time under Profile in the app, or by emailing [email protected]. What happens to your data is described in the privacy policy, and what happens to a purchase is described in the terms of purchase.

Breaches of the terms and misuse of accounts

We may block or close your account if you break these terms, or if we have reason to believe that you do. Examples of breaches are sharing your account or extracting questions automatically. We may also block the account if the sign-in pattern suggests that access is being shared with others.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when the service changes. The date at the top shows which version applies. When we change them, we ask you to accept the new terms the next time you use the app or the website. If you do not want to, you can delete your account.

Law and disputes

Norwegian law applies to these terms. If you disagree with us, we would like to hear from you first, so that we can find a solution together.
