How the Hengerspill works
The game puts you into real-life scenarios where you have to make decisions about load and weight. You face two types of challenges: either you have to fill the car and trailer with as much load as possible without breaking the rules, or you are shown an already-loaded situation and have to judge whether it is legal to drive.
After you answer, you see immediately whether you got it right – and why. The game explains exactly which limits apply and where you went wrong, if anywhere.
Two game modes
The Hengerspill varies the tasks so that you have to think fresh every time:
- Fill the car – You are given a car with a kerb weight and a maximum permitted total weight. Work from that to find the legal payload.
- Fill the car and trailer – Distribute the load wisely between car and trailer without exceeding any of the limits.
- Fill the car and caravan – Distribute the load wisely between car and caravan without exceeding any of the limits.
- Is this legal? – You are given a fully loaded situation and have to decide whether the combination is within the rules and the vehicle registration document.
