Prohibition signs
What do prohibition signs look like?
Prohibition signs are round with a white background, red border and black symbols. There are exceptions to this rule of thumb. Prohibition signs forbid traffic of certain vehicles or specific manners of driving. The signs typically apply from the sign until the next intersection.

No vehicles carrying dangerous goods
The prohibition applies to vehicles transporting dangerous goods that require marking with orange plates in accordance with section 5.3.2 of ADR for the transport unit. Where the prohibition applies to road tunnels, it covers the vehicles specified in section 1.9.5.3.6 of ADR.
