Information signs
What do information signs look like?
Information signs are square, with a blue background, white border and a white symbol with text. There are exceptions to this rule of thumb. Information signs provide information about special rules — including prohibitions and requirements that apply on a particular stretch of road or at a specific location.

When do you encounter the end-of-express-road sign?
You will find the sign at:
- Transitions to an ordinary road – where the express road transitions into an ordinary road.
- Advance warning – 250–350 m before the actual end, with a supplementary sign indicating the distance.
- Exit ramps – if there could otherwise be doubt about where the express road ends.
In the image you see the end-of-express-road sign placed where the express road provisions cease to apply.

What happens if you overlook the end-of-express-road sign?
