The listen-to-radio sign means you should turn on the car radio to receive real-time information about events, weather or accidents in the tunnel. You do not need to tune in to a specific channel – the system makes sure you receive the right broadcast automatically.
When do you encounter the listen-to-radio sign?
You see the sign at the start of tunnels equipped to broadcast traffic information via radio. It is repeated approximately every 500 meters inside the tunnel to remind drivers to keep the radio on.
